Rosie Gest Hew New Buggy for Run Across America

Rosie Swale-Pope, delivery of Jogpod, Icechick

We are pleased to be able to tell that after using it on the Likeys 6633 Ultra, Mike DeNoma has passed his lightweight buggy onto Rosie Swale-Pope. Rosie will now use it speed her on her way to the San Francisco, raising awareness for cancer other charities on the way.

Getting the buggy, that she has named ‘Ice Chick’ from the Yukon in Canada into the US was a significant challenge in itself requiring much patience and effort on the part of all involved.

Eventually we were able to establish the correct form and then categorise such an odd item and would like to thank the cargo supervisors at the border crossing near Niagra Falls for assisting with this.

Ice Chick will replace Ice Bird who has provided sterling service but was just worn out. To be the recipient of such generosity has fired up Rosie and she is now heading westwards.

Ice Chick was designed by SJH Projects as were Rosie’s earlier buggies, all the way back to the simple Hercules used to cross Siberia on her round the world run.
