Flight of the Osprey Team Selection

Following on from the great success of the Flight of the Swans expedition, its leader, Sacha Dench, has founded Conservation Without Borders whose first major project will be the Flight of the Osprey. This will take place on Autumn of 2020 and will follow, by paramotor, newly tagged juvenile Ospreys on their migration from Scotland to West Africa via Europe, the Straits of Gibraltar and the Sahara. To achieve this, Sacha will need a ground support crew including media specialist to help create a strong message across a variety of platforms. SJH Projects pulled together like minded colleagues from various specialities to put candidates for the media roles through their paces. We were lucky enough to be able to revisit ‘Humble by Nature’ in Monmouth to use as our base.
Flight Of The Osprey
A well proven programme of events was put in place imparting knowledge and skills to the candidates, testing their planning and communication skills and seeing how they maintained a working sense of humour and cooperation when deprived of sleep.
