Rosie Swale Pope has finished her run across the US with her buggy ‘Ice Chick’. She walked into the Pacific Ocean near her finish point at the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
This finishes as an epic journey that included spending her 70th birthday running across Death Valley and climbing My Whitney in the dark.
Future challenges including the Los Angeles marathon await, although this won’t include pulling Ice Chick. She will also be back to the UK to get her book of the journey underway.
