December 13th saw the ‘Welcome Home’ event for Sacha Dench and the rest of the ‘Flight of the Swans’ team.

They had traversed thousands of miles from Northern Russia to back to Slimbridge in Gloucestershire via Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and France.

During this, Sacha became the first female to cross the English Channel by paramotor. The expedition successfully highlighted the issues with the migration of the Bewick Swan and other wetland birds. Numbers are declining and mostly through human action.

Expedition Leader, Sacha Dench has written a testimonial for the support provided by SJH Projects. Click Here
